Trusting people is my Achilles heel.
More to come on what the real story is in a bit.
Ask me...do it
Personal:
Grew up in WPB fl, went to PBGHS, I was in the business magnet which I loved. I played football, and in the off season ran track and played volleyball. Hated track, love playing volleyball. Was accepted to FSU where I learned a little bit from my marketing degree, but most of my life was and future was shaped by the connections and friends I hung around. I was the president of my Fraternity for 2 years and loved the challenge of bringing a no name fraternity to one of the top fraternity's in 4 years time.I met the best guys and still keep in touch with everyone. All of us partied and had a good time but we were always very competitive and were trying to one up each other. This healthy competition created a great group of motivated guys and many of us are now doing big things. I love surfing, stopped sking and snowboarding when I face planted once and ate the snow...I hate the cold. Most of my friends know that in the past I was always wild and crazy but didnt like to drink and never touched drugs. I think I work like crazy now and have backed off being the crazy person I used to be. I dont know what it is but I am addicted to working, I feel bored if im not. Creating new things, new ideas, new ways of doing things, its fun and keeps me going. My hair is falling out but its ok, that's what hair transplants are for.
The business world:
Work all day everyday, its fun and the only way. I dont consider it work, I consider it LIFE and i love it.
Started my businesses freshman year of college. Worked for Vector marketing and learned tons about selling and creating value. I sold knives and I sold a ton of them. Selling knives was what opened my eyes to working for myself. I could work as much as I wanted and I loved it. I made as much or as little as I wanted and I choose to work all day and make tons of money for a college kid. While selling Cutco knives my friend Josh Aaron showed me the ropes to online marketing. After about 6 months of doing that, I dropped selling knives and started my own online marketing company and that eventually took off big time. I then had contracts and started working for major corporations. Was flown all over the world, taken out to dinners all day and night...lots of fun. In 2005 I started to create my own online websites, portals and businesses. My two main businesses on the internet that I started and own are Bidavilla.com and Instamanager.com. Both websites are geared toward the vacation rental industry. I still work with Josh and we currently market many products on the internet for various companies around the world.
My next big venture was in the restaurant industry.
I always wanted to own a Hotel and Casino, so in 2008 I thought it would be a good start to own my own restaurant, club and lounge, so I did. I created a concept with my business partner Tarek and now we have 101 Restaurant, ClubMint & Versi, located in downtown Tallahassee. Lots of work, but a good experience, we are getting busier and busier every month!
